Independence LED is please to support the members of Approved Professional Associations that are committed in some form to intelligently reduce operating costs and energy consumption in the built environment. Lighting accounts for over 25% of electricity for average buildings, and retrofitting lighting in 24/7 areas like back of the house emergency exit stairs often yields the highest Return on Investment (ROI). Plus, parking facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and health care facilities, like hospitals, that run around the clock, present ideal opportunities for energy savings with LED tubes and fixtures.

Independence LED is a U.S. manufacturer of high performance LEDs, and we offers this multi-million dollar GRANT program as a way to further impact the Global Energy Revolution.

2013 is the Year of the American Made LED Tube.

Property owners and Real Estate Professionals have the ability to reduce the impact of buildings on the energy landscape. To date many real estate professionals have watched LED technology evolve. Now the question is not “if” but “when” to retrofit with LEDs. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) banned the fluorescent T12 tubes in July of 2012 and in November of 2012, the DOE committed to the Buy America standards for LED tubes. This all adds up: 2013 is the Year of the American Made LED Tube.

The following GRANT elements are available to active members of an Approved Professional Association (APA)

GRANT HIGHLIGHTS

Energy Saving:

#1: 10% of the Cost of the LED Retrofit Equipment up to $50,000 in Grant payments per business location.

Please note that the entire Grant allocation for 2013 is $20,000,000 of which $10 Million is for the U.S. market and the other $10 Million is members of Approved Professional Associations outside of the U.S. The discounts on the Made in America Independence LED products are based on the date stamped requests made by active members of an Approved Professional Association. The program register period is from January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2013. The program includes a cap of 3 building locations per business ownership group.

#2: 100% of the Cost of an Energy Analysis.

The Energy Analysis centers on Savings Reports provided to the Grant recipient based on lighting information furnished by the end user.

#3: 6 Month Extension on the National CASH for CLUNKERS T12 program.

The program is currently scheduled to close March 31, 2013, and this Grant extends it to September 30, 2013. See: CASH for CLUNKERS

#4: $0 Down Payment Financing Options.

Cash flow positive financing is available for qualified businesses, subject to review by third party financing companies that are Independence LED strategic partners.

Marketing:

Independence LED’s long standing association with GEEENandSAVE provides a marketing platform for the program association members regardless of their participation in the LED retrofit GRANT. www.GREENandSAVE.com is one of only a few "Trusted Feed" partners in the sector by Google News. This means that GREENandSAVE's content is so well respected by Google that they post the articles automatically to the Google data base. Through this Grant program, qualifying members may submit profiles on "GREEN" initiatives for their properties. The initiatives may include retrofitting HVAC systems with higher SEER levels, increasing Energy Star points, achieving LEED Certifications, or even implementing recycling programs. The Master List:

We are members of numerous Property Owner and Real Estate Professional Associations at the City, State, National, and International level. The list of our Associations often grows over each new month as we expand overseas and learn about new opportunities. So, rather than posting the Approved Professional Association (APA) list here online, we maintain the Master File at our headquarters.

What type of Associations Qualify?

The most common types of approved groups include: Commercial and Industrial Property Owner Associations, Real Estate Developer Associations, Facility Manager Associations, and Real Estate Investor Associations.

If your Association is not on our approved list, we may either recommend a relevant one in your region, or we may review your Association for approval on the growing Master List.
